Holiday Voucher Scheme
The Holiday Voucher Scheme offers households in receipt of Free School Meals, supermarket vouchers to support them during school holidays between April 2024 and September 2024.
Vouchers are issued to the value of £15 per eligible child per week

Fairbite: “Fairbite Food Clubs are designed to help local people who are struggling financially. For a small membership fee, members choose from a range of food and household items. As a member you’ll select up to ten items from the shelves during a weekly visit to your local shop. As well as affordable food, members can get expert advice from our Citizens’ Advice advisors, and can join the Fairbite Club – a group for all members to meet each other, share ideas about the shops, and get involved in events and opportunities in the community.

Free School Meals (County council)
If you are in receipt of certain benefits your child may be entitled to free school meals, saving you up to £470 per year per child. This scheme is available for school-age children and to post-16 students at a school with a sixth form or college. See website for more details
Cambridge & District Citizens Advice
Face to face appointments and drop-ins at all centres have been suspended until further notice. If you need a Foodbank Voucher call their Cambridge Adviceline: 0344 848 7979 which is open 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday or email via Email for Advice. They can only do text referrals which do not involve them having to print a paper voucher.
Cambridgeshire Local Assistant Scheme (CLAS)
Supporting families and individuals by offering advice on how to make their money go further, or to help them move on from a difficult situation. Offer includes vouchers for those who don’t have enough money for food, clothing or fuel, access to new white goods and recycled goods and furniture. CambRidge United community trust
Cambridge United Community Trust have cancelled all their community events at the stadium, including the following: Seniors' Lunches, Senior’s Afternoon Teas, Holiday/Community Lunches.
As part of Cambridge United's Forever United Scheme, they are providing FRIENDLY CHAT, ONLINE ACTIVITIES, PRACTICAL SUPPORT for Cambridge residents over 70 (shopping, picking up prescriptions or any other every day needs).

Wintercomfort is a support hub for those who are homeless or at risk of losing their home in Cambridge. They are open 9am to 1pm everyday with individual appointments between 2pm and 3pm.
